Nuclear war – Experts simulated a nuclear strike on Moscow – UNIAN

The next session of Russian threats with nuclear weapons in the framework of the Russian-Ukrainian war has spurred talk about the real possibility of nuclear war. Newsweek tried to analyze the consequences of a hypothetical nuclear strike on Russia itself (on Moscow), as well as on the capitals of its key allies – Chinese Beijing and North Korean Pyongyang.

Newsweek's analysis is based on maps created by nuclear historian Alex Wellerstein. In the situations under consideration, the effect of using the B-83, the largest nuclear warhead currently in the US arsenal, is analyzed.
