Over the past year and a half, the proportion of Russian residents who believe that the use of nuclear weapons during a war can be justified has increased.
Sociologists surveyed residents of the Russian Federation about their views on the war in Ukraine and the idea of using nuclear weapons. It turns out that many Russians still support the invasion of our country and want negotiations on their own terms, reports the independent think tank Levada Center.
Over the past year and a half, the proportion of Russian residents who believe that the use of nuclear weapons during a war can be justified has increased, sociologists shared. In November 2024, 39% of respondents said they supported this decision, and in April 2023 this figure was 29%.
