Nutritionist named spices that increase hunger – Nutrition
In a conversation with SE, nutritionist Daria Karavatskaya said that cinnamon, turmeric, bay, cumin, rosemary, oregano, basil, black pepper, and salt increase appetite, Sports.kz reports.
According to her, food with spices excites the receptors and exacerbates the feeling of hunger.
However, the last three groups of spices can be useful for people who have problems with appetite, and those for whom even main meals are not easy – heaviness, drowsiness, and bloating occur after eating.
According to the expert, most often problems with appetite are associated with insufficiently active production of enzymes and hydrochloric acid, which help digest food.
“These products stimulate the production of enzymes and, accordingly, improve appetite and digestion,” the nutritionist concluded.
