Odesa ex-commissioner Borisov was arrested again: the SBI reported the details

The court increased tenfold the amount of bail for the former head of the Odesa regional TCC and SP.

The court decided to take into custody the ex-head of the Odesa regional TCC and SP Yevhen Borysov with the possibility of release on bail in the amount of UAH 402 million.

This was reported by the State Bureau of Investigation on Thursday, December 26.

“The Pechersk District Court of the city of Kyiv has chosen a preventive measure in the form of detention with the alternative of providing a bail of 402 million hryvnias to the former head of the Odesa Regional TCC and JV,” the message reads.

It will be recalled that the SBI officers detained Borisov in the capital the day before, on December 25. According to the investigation, the former soldier planned to flee abroad after he was released on a “small” bail of almost UAH 40 million.
