Olya farmers have once again blocked the border with Ukraine – what are the queues for PP – Ukraine

On Saturday, November 23, Polish farmers started a strike in front of the “Medyka-Sheghini” border crossing point in the Lviv region.

Organizers of the blockade say they started the protest for two reasons. The first is non-fulfillment of the requirement to maintain the level of the agricultural tax in 2024 at the level of 2023. The second concerns “concerns about the EU signing a free trade agreement with the South American MERCOSUR countries (Brazil, Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay).
