Kazakhstani Ilya Mizernykh performed unsuccessfully at the stage Ski Jumping World Cup V Oberstdorf (Germany)reports Sports.kz.
The 17-year-old Kazakh athlete took 42nd place, scoring 122.6 points. The entire podium was occupied by the Austrians: the first place was taken by Stefan Kraft (335.1 points), the second place was taken by Jan Hörl (331.6 points), and the top three was completed by Daniel Tschofenig (323.6 points).
Let us recall that in January 2024, Ilya Mizernykh won a historic gold medal at the Winter Youth Olympic Games in Gangwon (South Korea). Kazakhstan has never previously won gold in ski jumping at the Youth Olympics.
