Between 28 and 29 December, senior citizens will receive a one-time cash benefit, which will be transferred to their bank accounts.
Pension specialist Anastasia Kireeva noted that these payments are timed to coincide with important anniversaries.
The benefit is intended for pensioners who need additional support due to their age.
Starting from the age of 80, the size of the insurance pension doubles and amounts to 8,100 rubles. In some regions, one-time payments are provided: 15 thousand rubles upon reaching 90 years, 20 thousand upon reaching 95 years, 25 thousand upon reaching 100 years.
Pensioners who have already celebrated anniversaries will receive money on December 28 and 29. For those who have important dates ahead, funds will be transferred later.
