On Saturday, November 30, in the morning, an emergency occurred on Lake Starorechye. According to the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for the Kirov Region, the message to number 112 was received at 10:12.

It’s good that the specialists of the municipal search and rescue team managed to come to his aid. Using a sliding ladder, the man was pulled out of the ice hole to the shore and handed over to a team of doctors, rescuers said.

The Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations is appealing to every fisherman with a reminder that they should not go out on the ice until its thickness has reached seven centimeters. Otherwise, everything could turn into a tragedy.
