One hundred tons of de-icing materials were scattered on the streets of Kirov in one day

JSC “Gordormoststroy” told how the process of cleaning streets occurs during heavy snowfalls.

The contractor is tasked with ensuring the safest possible passage and passage of citizens. Immediately after the end of the snowfalls, work begins on cleaning roads and sidewalks to their full width and quality. During a snowstorm, the contractor cleans some sections of roads several times.

Every day, 130 units of equipment and 120 manual labor specialists work on the roads of the regional center. One hundred tons of deicing materials are used per day on roadways and sidewalks. Work is going on around the clock.
