The government of the Kirov region stated that one of the local networks of medical institutions refused to perform the abortion procedure. This topic was raised at a weekly operational meeting of the regional authorities.

On Monday, November 11, the governor of the Kirov region, Alexander Sokolov, said that in the morning he received a letter from the head of one of the networks of private clinics providing medical services to Kirov residents. The center announced a voluntary refusal to provide abortions and called on other organizations to do the same.
