Onion prices: in Ukraine, the price of the vegetable rose sharply

This was reported by the analysts of the EastFruit project.
Experts noted that the supply of quality onions on the market is quite limited, as many farms continue to refrain from selling these products from storage. Thus, the increase in prices is observed exclusively in the segment of high-quality products, when the supply of vegetables of medium and low quality has significantly decreased.
So, as of November 28, Ukrainian farms sold high-quality onions at UAH 12-17/kg ($0.29-0.41/kg), which is on average 35% more expensive than at the end of last week.
