OnlyFans porn models will be forced to pay taxes in Ukraine — Ukraine
The draft law on the decriminalization of porn, in particular, legalizes the work of OnlyFans porn models, which was previously considered illegal.
Ukrainian models who receive income from content creation on the Internet platform OnlyFans collectively earned $123 million in 2020−2022. However, they cannot pay taxes, as the distribution of such content is prohibited in Ukraine.
People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported this in Telegram with reference to the data of the State Tax Service.
Zheleznyak explained why the draft law on the decriminalization of porn was submitted to the Verkhovna Rada.
According to him, about 5,000 Ukrainian models on OnlyFans received:
- 2020: approximately $8 million in revenue.
- 2021: already more than $35 million in revenue.
- 2022: almost $80 million in revenue.
