Onuka, Monatik and other musicians join Usyk's flash mob “Battle for Light”
Ukrainian boxer and world champion Oleksandr Usyk launched a musical flash mob to support those who fight against Russia's energy terrorism every day.
On his Instagram page, Usyk appealed to Ukrainians to participate in the creation of the national anthem Battle for Light.
“Let's create an anthem of the Battle for Light together. A normal one, a Cossack, so that it was humming all the way to the grove. And I'll be on drums,” wrote Usyk.
In less than a day, the announcement of the creation of the anthem received more than 1 million views.
The basis for the anthem was the sound of Usyk's blows, which complement the work of the Ukrainian Air Defense Forces, rescuers and DTEK energy workers. The main motif of the national anthem was the Ukrainian folk song “Oi na gori ta zhenti zhnut”.
