Politicians will discuss the war in Ukraine, the conflict in the Middle East and the chances for peace.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán will meet with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Ankara on December 12 and hold talks with him.

This was stated by the head of the press service of the Prime Minister, Bertalan Havasi, MTI reports.

Orbán will hold talks with Erdogan and then take part in the closing of the Hungarian-Turkish cultural season.

The meeting of politicians will discuss current international affairs, the war in Ukraine and the conflict in the Middle East, chances for peace, as well as many topics of Hungarian-Turkish relations.

“At the end of 2023, we raised our bilateral relations to the level of a strategic partnership, and since then our cooperation has been developing dynamically,” Havasi said.
