Pensions in Ukraine – in which regions pensioners receive the largest payments – UNIAN
The PFU noted that the average pension in Ukraine is 5,852 hryvnia.
More than 10 million pensioners live in Ukraine. According to the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the largest average pension payments were recorded in Kyiv.
The PFU shared that as of October 1, 2024, the average pension in Ukraine is 5,852 hryvnia. Nevertheless, the largest percentage of pensioners in our country receive less than 3 thousand hryvnia.
Amounts of pension payments:
- less than 3,000 hryvnia – 25.79%;
- from 3,001 to 4,000 hryvnia – 17.35%;
- from 4,001 to 5,000 hryvnia – 18.59%;
- from 5,001 to 10,000 hryvnia – 25.57%;
- more than 10,000 hryvnia – 12.70%.
The largest average amount of pension payments was recorded in Kyiv. There, pensioners receive an average of 7,971 hryvnia, according to PFU data.
