Russian Railways (RZD) are actively working to improve the comfort and safety of passengers by introducing changes to the rules for using long-distance trains
Innovations affect the use of sleeping places and electronic devices.
Flexible schedule for using lower shelves: The lower bunks are provided to passengers of the upper bunks for meals at certain hours: from 7:00 to 10:00 – morning reception; from 12:00 to 15:00 – lunch; from 19:00 to 21:00 – evening reception.
Restrictions on the use of electronic devices: Listening to music and audiobooks without headphones, talking on the phone loudly or making video calls is prohibited.
