The approved draft law is aimed at combating illegal sawmills and does not concern ordinary citizens
Draft law No. 9665, voted by the Verkhovna Rada, is aimed at improving liability for offenses in the field of forest use and combating the illegal circulation of wood, and does not aim to restrict citizens who use firewood to heat their own homes.
People's deputy, deputy chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement and one of the authors of the draft law Maksym Pavlyuk reported this, reports the press service of “Servants of the People”.
