Pistorius made an encouraging statement about German peacekeepers in Ukraine

German Defense Minister Boris Pistorius said that the final decision to send peacekeepers from his country to Ukraine will depend “on the prevailing conditions.”
The minister said this in an interview with the Deutschlandfunk radio station, DW reports.
According to Pistorius, the question of the possible participation of the German military in the peacekeeping mission in Ukraine after the end of the war remains open.
“We are preparing, we are working out scenarios, but we are doing it confidentially,” said the Minister of Defense of Germany.
He added that now is not the time to publicly discuss such scenarios.
