Poland will chair the Council of the European Union
Poland supports Ukraine's aspirations to become a full member of NATO.
Next year, Poland will preside over the Council of the European Union, and this presidency can bring good results to Ukraine in its approach to joining the European Union.
This was stated by Volodymyr Zelenskyi during a meeting with Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk in Lviv on December 17.
“We are preparing to open at least several clusters in the negotiation process,” the president said.
He also expressed his gratitude to Poland for supporting Ukraine's aspiration to become a full member of NATO and to receive an invitation to the Alliance as soon as possible.
“Poland understands how important it is in our part of Europe that security is truly guaranteed and that there is no geopolitical uncertainty,” he added.
