Pope Francis, commenting on the war in Ukraine, said that it is hypocritical to talk about peace and at the same time arm ourselves.
He made this statement in an interview with the Argentine TV channel Orbe 21, Vatican News reports. “I am concerned that numerous calls for peace from international organizations go in one ear and out the other. There is also a hidden hypocrisy in this: we talk about peace, but we arm war,” the pontiff said.
