Porting numbers to lifecell is working again


On December 23, the Centralized database of ported numbers (CBD) resumed work. On December 20, the Ukrainian State Radio Frequency Center (UDCR) carried out technical work to increase the capacity of systems involved in processing applications from subscribers who change operators.

This was due to the abnormally high demand for porting numbers to the lifecell network in December, which significantly exceeded the technical capabilities of the Centralized Database.

Over the past week, lifecell recorded a significant increase in the number of applications for porting numbers to the operator than usual, and the number of visitors to the company's stores, who in particular intended to port a number to lifecell, increased several times. In particular, only on December 20-22, about 13,000 subscribers contacted the operator who expressed a desire to port their number to lifecell.
