Postponement from mobilization in January 2025

Martial law and mobilization in Ukraine have been extended until February 7, 2025. Those liable for military service who have the right to a deferment from mobilization and, in fact, the deferment itself, formalized in accordance with all the rules, are not conscripted into the army. Who can apply for it is described below.

Deferment from mobilization 2025 – who will receive it in January

All the grounds on which a person liable for military service can receive a deferment from the army are spelled out in the Law of Ukraine “On mobilization preparation and mobilization” (Article 23). In particular, the following may receive such a deferment:

• those liable for military service who have a reservation;
• those who have a confirmed disability of any group;
