Putin offered Slovakia as a platform for negotiations: Ukraine reacted — Politics
Ukraine needs stable peace, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes.
Russian president-dictator Vladimir Putin expressed the opinion that Slovakia can become a platform for peace negotiations, because, they say, it takes a “neutral position” regarding the war. However, Ukraine reminded Bratislava about the peace formula.
This was stated by the spokesman of the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Heorhiy Tykhy, during a press conference on December 27.
“From time to time we hear different statements. I suggest not to believe the liars at their word,” said the press secretary of the diplomatic institution.
According to him, ideas and proposals from different parties and leaders regarding the platform for negotiations between Kyiv and Moscow are heard from time to time in the information space. Tychy noted that Ukraine needs a stable, just and comprehensive peace.
