Putin will have problems because of Trump's personnel decisions – Svitan – Politics
Future personnel appointments are very important for Ukraine.
US President-elect Donald Trump's personnel decisions indicate that Russian President Vladimir Putin is in trouble.
This opinion was expressed by the military expert, colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in reserve, Roman Svitan, to Channel 24.
In particular, Trump nominated veteran and Fox News commentator Pete Hegseth as Secretary of Defense. As Svitan noted, most of those selected for the newly elected American leader's team are former military personnel.
According to the expert, Trump's first personnel decisions indicate that in his team will be the “hawk wing” of the Republicans, aimed at US dominance in the world. Svitan believes that they will be tasked with tackling the issue of China's dominance, which is the enemy. Therefore, these appointments are very important for Ukraine.
