Putin does not plan to congratulate Donald Trump on his victory in the US elections, but is “open to dialogue”.
The press secretary of the President of Russia, Dmitry Peskov, explained this by the fact that the United States is “an unfriendly country that is directly and indirectly involved in the war against Russia.”
Peskov also commented on Donald Trump's statement about the possibility of ending the war in Ukraine in 24 hours, noting that this is too complex a problem for a quick solution. Peskov also expressed doubt that Trump will be able to change the current US position on this issue.
