The other day, Western media once again raised the topic of reducing the mobilization age in Ukraine. According to Reuters, the United States is calling on Ukraine to reduce the lower threshold of the mobilization age to 18 years. According to anonymous representatives of the US administration, this will allow Ukraine to quickly find the required number of military personnel.
Ukraine reacted to these statements. In particular, Advisor to the President of Ukraine Dmitry Lytvyn noted that there is no point in discussing this problem yet. Because due to the delay in aid from allies, Ukraine has nothing to provide for new military personnel.
