Refugees in Europe – Ukrainians in Poland increase their salary demands
Foreigners from the Philippines, India, Nepal, Moldova and Colombia have lower salary expectations.
Ukrainians in Poland no longer want to work for low wages, and only 5% are willing to earn less than €900. As Wprost writes, research shows that their demands exceed other groups of economic migrants.
According to the publication, a study by Progres Group shows that Ukrainians have much higher financial needs than employees from other countries. Only 5 percent of them are willing to work for a salary below 4,000 zlotys (about 930 euros). At the same time, the vast majority – 85% – expect a salary ranging from 4000 to 7700 zlotys (930-1800 euros), and 10% want to earn more than 7700 zlotys (1800 euros).
