Release of ground drones in Ukraine
Ground-based drones can perform many different tasks.
In Ukraine, there are currently more than 50 manufacturers of ground drones that have passed certification, primary tests and are registered with the Ministry of Defense as manufacturers.
This was stated by military communications expert Sergei Flesh in an interview with Radio Liberty. “About 17 or 20 of them are certified according to NATO standards. That is, we are saying that we have formed a layer of manufacturers who are ready to produce ground-based drones,” the expert noted.
He added that ground-based drones can perform many different tasks. “We now have at least 2 or 3 manufacturers who produce them in series for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and these drones are already entering service and being used,” Flesh noted.
