The leadership of the Republican Party in the US Senate officially confirmed the decision of the Biden administration to cancel the restrictions for Ukraine on the use of ATACMS long-range missiles against targets deep in Russia.
The current leader of the Republicans in the Senate, Mitch McConnell, made a corresponding statement, writes Ukrinform.
“Finally, belatedly, they (in the Biden administration – ed.) yesterday did what the speaker and I suggested they do six months ago,” McConnell noted.
He clarified that he meant the use of ATACMS missiles by Ukrainian forces “as they see fit to help them win the war.”
