A team from New Mexico has found a way to use body parts to create realistic bird drones.

They believe that drones will help in wildlife monitoring as they blend in with the natural environment.
After demonstrating the idea last year, the mechanic has already been implemented in ducks that can swim in water and pigeons with cameras around their necks.

Dr. Mostafa Hassanalian, associate professor of mechanical engineering, says the team is not killing the birds for the devices, and they were not designed for espionage.
