Restoration of Ukraine – the scale of destruction in the country is assessed – UNIAN
International support and partnership with Poland are becoming key to post-war reconstruction.
Today, the scale of destruction in Ukraine from a full-scale war is estimated at about $500 billion. According to an UNIAN correspondent, this was reported by participants in the International Forum of Central and Eastern Europe VIA CARPATIA 2024.
“This aggression daily destroys our buildings, social infrastructure, kills people, forces them to leave their homes, transport enterprises to other safer places for doing business. Now the scale of destruction in Ukraine is approximately $500 billion. This is a huge amount. And this amount is actually is actually increasing every day,” said Deputy Minister of Community and Territorial Development Alexey Ryabikin.
