Tension is growing around the tragic accident in Dnipro.
The statement that the investigator refused to receive the parents of the dead girl is actively spreading on the Internet. However, this information is not true.
This was reported by regional police spokeswoman Hanna Starchevska, local channels report.
According to her, the father was indeed called in for questioning, and according to the video camera recording, he waited in front of the office for about 30 minutes while the investigator finished his preliminary work. After that, the father was interviewed, recognized as a victim and released.
“Starchevska stressed that the information that is spreading on the network does not correspond to reality,” the message reads.
