Romania denies Russian missile crossed border during attack on Ukraine

The Romanian Ministry of National Defense “did not see” that the Russian missile was crossing their border.

Romania's air surveillance system, which is part of the integrated system of the North Atlantic Alliance, did not detect the crossing of the border by a Russian missile launched during a massive Russian strike on critical infrastructure in Ukraine.

“The Romanian military authorities were informed by the Ukrainian military authorities that at approximately 7.30 am a rocket from the Russian Federation forces, which was supposed to fall in the Chernivtsi region of Ukraine, flew through the airspace of the Republic of Moldova and, within approximately two minutes, also through the airspace of Romania, in northern region, near the city of Darabani,” reports…
