RTX 5000 release date – 5090 will not be the first video card of the new line – UNIAN
The new flagship will hit store shelves a few weeks after the RTX 5080.
Wccftech reports that the GeForce RTX 5080 video card with 16 GB of GDDR7 memory will be the first in the new Blackwell line to hit the market. This will happen in mid-January, shortly after the company's presentation at CES 2025.
It will be followed by the flagship RTX 5090. The estimated release date is the period from the end of January to mid-February next year. It is expected that the video card will receive a record amount of video memory – 32 GB. The RTX 4090 had 24 GB.
