First of all, wash the pan, and then put it on the gas to dry. When the water has evaporated, pour in a glass of coarse salt. “Fry” it over low heat, stirring, for about 20 minutes. During this time, the salt will darken, absorbing dirt from the pan.
Pour out the salt and shake off the residue with a dry cloth. Pour 3 tablespoons of odorless vegetable oil into the frying pan, rub it with a sponge into the bottom and sides from the inside of the frying pan and put it back on the fire.
Fry the frying pan over high heat until the oil begins to smoke, then rinse it with cold water.
