Russia continues to supply gas to Austria, although it promised not to do so – UNIAN
It was reported that Moscow would completely stop gas supplies to Austria, violating the previous agreement.
The Russian Gazprom said that despite its promises, it sent 42.4 million cubic meters of gas to Europe through Ukrainian territory on Tuesday. Reuters reports this.
Applications for gas supplies from Slovakia to Austria today increased by 6% compared to last day. However, they still remain 12% below the level that was recorded before gas supplies to the Austrian OMV were stopped.
It is not reported who exactly buys the gas that was previously intended for this company. At the same time, it is known that applications for gas supplies from Ukraine to Slovakia remained virtually unchanged.
