On December 9, at the Yantar shipyard in the Kaliningrad region, a ceremony was held to transfer the Project 11356 frigate, which was named Tushill, to India. Naval News reports this.

Initially, the ship was named after the Admiral of the Russian Imperial Fleet Grigory Butakov – it was intended for the Russian Navy.

The frigate was launched back in March 2016. The completion of the ship was frozen because it was designed for power plants from the Ukrainian enterprise Zorya-Mashproekt, which the Russian Federation could not receive after the events of 2014.
