The modified Grom-E1 bomb with a total weight of about 600 kg is capable of flying up to 120 km after being dropped from an aircraft.

The publication notes that Russia has been using guided bombs for a long time, but still the planes have to fly to a potentially dangerous distance to the front. To reduce these risks, the Russians created a modified bomb “Grom-E1” with a total weight of about 600 kg, equipped with a rocket engine. Thanks to this, the bomb is able to fly up to 120 km after it is dropped from the plane.
