Russia is selling ships due to the lack of Ukrainian engines
Russia tried to resume the production of similar engines on its territory, attracting specialists from Ukraine, but this did not give results.
Russia was forced to sell a series of the latest frigates to India, as it could not provide them with engines that were previously manufactured at the Zorya-Mashproject plant in Mykolaiv.
Dmytro Pletenchuk, the spokesman for the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, announced this on the air of the national telethon.
As the representative of the Navy noted, even before 2014, Russia began building a number of modern frigates with unique launch shafts for the latest missiles. However, after the annexation of Crimea and the introduction of sanctions, the supply of engines from Ukraine was stopped.
