Russia may attract soldiers from North Korea to fight in eastern Ukraine
Russia is increasing its army at the expense of troops from North Korea.
Due to heavy losses in the eastern directions, Russia may attract soldiers from the DPRK to participate in hostilities in the east of Ukraine. This may apply both to the frontline areas in the east of Ukraine and to other areas where additional support is needed.
Nazar Voloshyn, the spokesman of the “Khortytsia” OSU, announced this on the air of the telethon.
He noted that Russia is already engaging North Korean soldiers in battles in combined units. However, the Defense Forces of Ukraine do not yet have information about the participation of the North Korean military in hostilities in eastern Ukraine.
“It is not excluded that soon due to heavy losses especially in the eastern directions, it is also possible to use representatives of North Korea in our areas of the front, who will take part in combat operations together with Russian soldiers,” he said…
