Russia has begun to “add intelligence” to some Shahed-136 type attack drones. They are equipped with so-called “artificial intelligence”.
Defense Express writes about this with reference to publications in the leading Western media.
These articles say that the Russians are integrating AI into their drones that allows them to coordinate “swarms of drones”, overcome EW obstacles on autonomous navigation, bypass air defenses and “recognize” targets for attack that look like power plants.
The publication notes that, given the known modern technologies, there is nothing surprising in these new capabilities of the Russian “shaheeds”.
