Russian military advances in Kursk region: details from ISW


The troops of the Russian Federation recently advanced within the boundaries of the “Ukrainian bridgehead” in the Kursk region.

This is reported by analysts of the American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) in their report.

Geolocation footage for December 23 shows that the Armed Forces of Ukraine repulsed a Russian mechanized assault the size of a reinforced platoon south of Kruglenko. This indicates that the Russians advanced along the road Novoivanivka – Mala Loknya to the south of the village, the report says. The Russian Federation troops also continued their assaults in the Kruglenko, Pogrebki, and Martynivka areas.
