Military commentator Denys Popovych said this on the air of Radio NV.

However, the expert emphasizes, this will complicate the situation near Kurakhovo and create more opportunities for the enemy to put pressure on the Armed Forces from the south.

“When the enemy closes this pocket, eliminates it, the situation near Kurakhovo will worsen. This “pocket” is a little south of Kurakhovo. In this case, the enemy will be able to increase the pressure on the settlement itself and, accordingly, we will be very close to withdrawing from it populated place. We are still very close to that,” Popovych stressed.
