Damage to the power cable in the Baltic Sea

On Wednesday, December 25, the power supply to the underwater cable Estlink 2, which connects two NATO countries – Finland and Estonia, was stopped.

The head of the dispatching service of the energy company Arto Pakhkin does not exclude the possibility of sabotage.

Subsequently, Finland detained an oil tanker of the “shadow fleet” of Russia. Finnish law enforcement officers suspect the Russian oil tanker “Eagle S” of intentionally damaging the cable.
