Saving electricity – 2 million street lights will be replaced in Ukraine – UNIAN

In Ukraine, they will strengthen the energy sustainability of communities by replacing street lighting with energy-efficient ones, and will also equip water utilities with solar power plants.
“There are more than 1,400 communities in Ukraine, we are expecting an application to replace lamps in about 2 million lamps. Some communities have already submitted information about their needs. This project will provide significant savings in electricity consumption, this is especially important now,” noted the Chairman of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development infrastructure Sergey Sukhomlin.
