Britain's transport minister has resigned over a 10-year-old theft of her office phone.
British Transport Minister Louise Hague resigned 12 hours after it was revealed in the media that she had been convicted of attempted fraud 10 years ago.

As it became known, in 2013, Louise Hague, who was then 24 years old, worked for the insurance company Aviva and used a work phone that was issued to her by her employer. In the same year, she reported to the police that she had been robbed while out for a walk, and among the stolen items in her purse, Haig listed her work phone.
