As noted, the DBR employees detained and reported the suspicion to the commander of the 211 brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who did not respond to the facts of abuse and torture of servicemen entrusted to him.
“It was established that at least from February to July 2024, the brigade commander knew about numerous facts of torture and other inhumane treatment of soldiers by an officer subordinate to him, but did not react to it and did not initiate the issue of bringing the guilty officer to justice,” the report says.
