German Chancellor Olaf Scholz said that the citizens of his country do not support the transfer of Taurus long-range missiles to Ukraine. He stated this in an interview with ZDF television.
He emphasized that there is a war in Europe and “this is a topic that worries citizens very much.”
“And in this war we need to think carefully about how to act wisely. How to act prudently,” he noted.
Scholz said Germany under his leadership “has become Ukraine's biggest supporter” and supports Ukraine's desire to defend itself.
