The MyndPlay company conducted a study and found out what can replace sex, Sports.kz reports.
The results of the study showed that shopping is 84% capable of replicating the brain's response to intimacy. According to scientists, “inspired shoppers” show the same gamma activity as people having sex.
The researchers came to this conclusion as a result of an experiment during shopping trips. The participants were conditionally divided into two groups. The first group included those “inspired shoppers” who purchased products to express individuality and satisfy personal preferences. The second group included subjects who made purchases to comply with fashion trends.
