Sergey Kovalev gave a verdict on the fight between Usik and Beterbiev – Boxing/MMA

Russian boxer, former world champion Sergey Kovalev spoke about a possible fight between the Ukrainian Alexander Usik and a Russian Artur BeterbievSports.kz reports with reference to Sport24.ru.

Usik is the WBA, WBC and WBO world heavyweight champion, and Beterbiev is the undisputed world light heavyweight champion.

— Do you believe in the fight between Usik and Beterbiev in the first heavyweight division?
“There is no reason for this fight.” Because according to amateurs, Usik was young and inexperienced. And now he is more confident in himself, experienced enough to carry out other fights as professionals. But I would watch this fight, it would be interesting,” Kovalev said in an interview with Seconds Out.
